Took a few days off to clear my mind and get a feel for things heading into conference play:

Quinnipiac Bobcats -14: Bobcats are the class of the MAAC led by an explosive offence that just destroyed Iona on the road. They also won at Pittsburgh and put up 91 on UCF in a loss. Rider is picked to finish near the bottom of the MAAC and showed why when they lost at home to .... COPPIN STATE. They gave Merrimack a good fight in the league opener on Friday but it's back to getting smashed around here. 0.75 units.

Really thinking long and hard about taking Stanford -9 at home against UNLV. Rebels are really banged up in the front court and got smacked in Vegas by Rutgers in their last game after getting pulverized by Bama. Now that was 10 days ago so I think Pastner should have some adjustments in place for this one. It could work for a half or so but I think Stanford pulls away late but we'll see. Going to investigate further.
