With the pressure squarely on Man City's shoulders ahead of Thursday's fixture vs. Brighton, the Citizens delivered a masterclass performance and left very little doubt as to who would collect all three points.
A 4-0 win at the Amex means City moved to within a point of Arsenal, with a game in hand on the London club. However, that will all be for nothing if they don't produce another performance worthy of picking up the win today.
They will run into resistance in the form of Nottingham Forest, who are fighting for EPL survival. Will the desperation be enough to keep the trees from wilting under pressure?

My analysis
Much like any game Man City takes part in the Premier League, they figure to have the bulk of the possession, the bulk of the scoring chances, the bulk of the goals, and quite frankly all three points after 90 minutes.
However, that doesn't mean aren't susceptible to lapses at the back, and given the combination of two key factors, we believe Nottingham Forest can do enough to find the scoresheet.
If you look at Man City's fixture schedule, they've played a ton of football over the last three weeks. Dating back to April 6, they've played six games over 21 days. This will be game number seven in 23.
Even for a club as deep as Man City is on the bench, there is only so much gas in the tank, and with every passing game, each one more vital than the next, energy is expended and the recovery time takes longer.
On the other side of the coin, you have a Nottingham Forest side that is fighting for survival. They currently sit 17th in the table, one point up on Luton and three points up on Burnley. A single point here against the Champions would feel like three and would help their cause immensely.
With that said, while I don't believe Nottingham Forest will win, they will do what they do best at home and that is trying to attack every chance they get.
They've done the bulk of their scoring at home and Man City have given up the majority of their goals away from the Etihad.
