Mason Marchment had a hat trick for the visiting Florida Panthers in a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Wild on Friday night in Minneapolis.

Anthony Duclair and Aaron Ekblad each had a goal and an assist, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 saves for the Panthers, who have won two straight following a 14-day gap between games.

Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello each had a goal and an assist, and Cam Talbot made 29 saves for the Wild, who entered the All-Star break on a six-game winning streak, but are 2-3-0 coming out. Minnesota has given up six goals in back-to-back games.

The Panthers were called for two tripping penalties in the opening seven minutes and Kaprizov scored his 23rd of the season on the second power play after drawing the penalty.

Jared Spurgeon passed the puck to Kaprizov at the side of the net and he scored on a one-timer for a 1-0 lead at 7:07 of the first period.

Florida tied it 1-1 at 10:02 of the first when Marchment stole a pass behind the Minnesota net and scored on a wraparound.

Marchment scored again off a feed from Anton Lundell to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead at 12:29 of the first.

The Panthers increased their lead to 3-1 at 8:38 of the second period. Jonathan Huberdeau won the puck before skating behind the Minnesota net and passing to Duclair for the one-timer.

Ekblad added a power-play tally off another assist from Huberdeau along with Duclair to stretch the lead to 4-1 at 1:41 of the third. Huberdeau has 68 points on the season to move back into the NHL lead with Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers.

The Wild scored their second power-play goal when Zuccarello fired a shot into the net from a sharp angle to make it 4-2 at 9:42.

Minnesota pulled Talbot with just under eight minutes remaining and Carter Verhaeghe scored into the empty net with 6:42 left to make it 5-2.

Marchment then secured his first NHL hat trick when he scored into an empty net for a 6-2 lead with 5:27 remaining. Marchment has 11 goals in 24 games after scoring two in 33 games last season.
