Sunday serves up the biggest game of this Premier League weekend as Tottenham Hotspur face Manchester City in North London. Man City are chasing the Premier League title and are currently locked into a battle against Tottenham’s arch-rival Arsenal.

Sunday offers a game that feels like it matters more for both teams than it usually would.
Man City have the highest of standards and would be unhappy to have entered February in second place, especially coming into this weekend five points behind Arsenal. On the other side of the pitch, Spurs look to be fighting for the final Champions League spot.
In the past four meetings of the clubs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, we’ve seen the home team win all of them. The last two meetings have also seen a total of 11 goals.
That brings us nicely to the best bet for this game, and I’m going to suggest betting on not one player to score, but two. Enter Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, as the Norwegian and Englishman have combined for 41 Premier League goals in as many games.
Haaland is on record-breaking pace with his 25 Premier League goals, and it’s gone under the radar just how lethal Kane has been, partly because of Spurs’ struggles. Scoring 16 goals by February — especially given the World Cup break — is an incredible return.
This is a matchup with the Premier League’s best strikers going toe-to-toe. Given the high-scoring nature of recent games, it makes a lot of sense to back both talismanic forwards to find the back of the net at a very attractive price of +500.

Tottenham vs Man City side analysis
Spurs will play in Conte’s usual 3-4-3, with the back three of Lenglet, Dier, and Romero. The fullbacks will be on either side of Bentancur and Hojbjerg, with Perisic and potentially Emerson Royal taking those roles. The front three of Tottenham is their real strength, with Harry Kane leading the line and Son supporting him.
We’ll likely see Dejan Kulusevskiin line up there as well, although the Swede has failed to play at the same level since returning from injury. That could mean we see Richarlison replace him from the bench, with the Brazilian working his way back to fitness too.
City like to line up in a 4-3-3, but Rico Lewis often moves up into the base of midfield. That leaves the two central defenders sliding across and Nathan Ake moving more central to form a back three. Alongside Haaland up front will be any two of City’s attackers, with Grealish and Mahrez potentially most likely to play there. The midfield will see Rodri at the base, with Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne taking responsibility to be creative.
This is a game Man City should win, but the odds aren’t overly attractive enough to make a wager on either side.

The bookies see this as being a high-scoring game, with Over 2.5 goals being offered at far shorter odds than the Under.
While Spurs haven’t been at their best this season, matches at Tottenham Hotspur stadium have finished with Over 2.5 goals in 60% of games this season.
Meanwhile, 70% of Man City's contests have gone Over 2.5 goals. It’s worth noting that when Guardiola’s team plays away from home, that drops to 44.4%. However, that has risen to 66.6% if you only consider games after the World Cup break.
As you can tell from my best bet, I’m expecting at least two goals and I think in all likelihood we’ll see Over 2.5 here.
