Favorites to win the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson

Scottie Scheffler (+1,000)

The red-hot Scottie Scheffler returns to action after a week off from the Wells Fargo Championship. His form simply cannot be overstated, with wins at the Phoenix Open, Arnold Palmer, and Dell Match Play culminating in a dominant performance at the Masters — that's four wins in his last six solo starts.

Scheffler most recently played at the Zurich Classic alongside fellow Texan Ryan Palmer, with the tandem finishing T18. Has made three starts here at the Byron Nelson, a T22 in 2014, T35 in 2019, and T47 a year ago, but Scottie has earned the right to have those results thrown out with how he's played in 2022.

He starts the tournament as a deserving +1,000 betting favorite.

Justin Thomas (+1,200)

The game of "when will Justin Thomas win again" continues for another week. Has piled up six Top-5 finishes among nine Top 10s in 15 Tour starts dating back to the beginning of last year's FedEx Cup Playoffs, but hasn't hoisted a trophy since the 2021 PLAYERS.

His ball-striking stats are off the charts in just about every important category, but the putter continues to let him down in 2022. Either way, a win is inevitably coming soon for the Tour superstar — will this be the week?

Sam Burns (+2,000)

A lesser name relative to Scheffler or Thomas, but not one to look past, Sam Burns, is in the No. 3 spot.

Burns already has two Tour wins this season and is just a few weeks removed from his title-defending victory at Valspar. The World No. 10 missed the cut at Augusta National but bounced back strong, finishing runner-up with Billy Horschel at the Zurich in New Orleans.

Notable longshots to win the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson

Jason Day (+5,000)

The Australian may have struggled over the weekend at Wells Fargo but there are reasons to be encouraged. Held the 36-hole lead after Rounds of 63 and 67 on Thursday and Friday, and is coming to an event he won back in 2010.

Backing him to win may be a reach — especially at this number — but let's see if he can continue to improve his form ahead of the PGA Championship next week.

Cameron Champ (+6,600)

Is Cameron Champ back? It's certainly starting to feel that way.

He battled a lingering injury to start the year, causing a flurry of poor results and missed cuts. However, he finished T10 at Augusta National and followed that up with a T6 in Mexico.

He leads the Tour in driving distance this season, knows how to win, and appears to be rounding into some really strong form. Keep your eyes peeled for another good week.
