NFL Week 18 Odds and Betting Lines: Bills Laying a Field Goal in Miami

The regular season comes to an end with NFL Week 18 odds on the board. It's a grand finale, considering so many teams are still looking to lock up a playoff spot.

There are a few teams with the luxury of resting up before the playoffs but for the most part, the Week 18 odds reflect either teams trying to make the tournament or improve their postseason seeding. That makes for a great weekend of wagering, with two games on Saturday and a Sunday Night Football showdown for the AFC East.

With Baltimore locking up the top seed in the AFC and the Steelers still fighting for a Wild Card spot, Pittsburgh went from -2.5 to -3.5 road chalk in Week 18. The Steelers need to win this AFC North finale and then have the Dolphins beat the Bills on Sunday night in order to slip into a postseason spot. This total opened 38.5 O/U and is sitting as low as 37.5 on Monday morning.

A Wild Card spot and a shot at the AFC South title is on the line when the Texans tangle with the Colts on Saturday night. The winner will at least earn a ticket via the Wild Card and should the Jaguars lose on Sunday, the victor will take the division crown as well. Indianapolis opened as a 1-point home favorite and is up to -1.5 with injuries to Houston's offense stacking up. This total hit the board as low as 46.5 and is up to 47.5 points.

Tampa Bay needs to win against Carolina to claim the NFC South title and given that path, some sportsbooks have jumped from Bucs -5.5 to the key number of -6. The Panthers have nothing to play for but pride, as they've already finished with the worst record and their No. 1 overall draft pick belongs to Chicago. This total hit the board at 37.5 points.

This Battle of Ohio opened with the Bengals as short as 3.5-point home favorites and the Browns planning to rest their starters with the No. 5 seed in the AFC already in the bag. Money on Cincinnati has bumped this spread up to as high as -4.5, even though Cincy has nothing to play for in Week 18. The total hit the board at 40 points and is down to 39 at some shops.

The Lions can still earn the No. 2 seed in the NFC if the Cowboys and Eagles lose in Week 18. But even with that scenario set as a long shot, Dan Campbell has no quit and you won't see him rest his starters. This spread is bouncing between Detroit -4 and -4.5 while the total has seen a quick adjustment after opening at 43.5 points and climbing as high as 45 on Monday morning.

The Saints need help from the rest of the NFC to make the postseason cut but a win over Atlanta is the key, at least to making a run at the NFC South title. This spread opened NOLA -4 and is bouncing between that and -3.5. This total opened at 41.5 points and is up to 42 points.

Seattle needs to beat Arizona and have the Bears beat the Packers in order to sneak into a NFC Wild Card slot. The Seahawks will be scoreboard watching with that NFC North game also kicking off a 4:25 p.m. ET. The Cardinals are coming off the upset win over Philadelphia, so a potential letdown looms for this finale game of a long season for Arizona. Seattle opened as a 3-point road favorite with the total at 47 points.

Philadelphia opened as big as 6.5-point road chalk in East Rutherford and this spread has slimmed to as low as -5.5 at select sportsbooks on Monday morning. The Eagles need a win over the Giants and the Cowboys to lose to Washington, but with Dallas laying almost two touchdowns in D.C., there will likely be some scoreboard watching as these games both kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET. The Niners have the No. 1 seed in the NFC in hand and the Rams have clinched an improbable Wild Card berth in the playoffs. San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said, "We’ll definitely try to rest some guys, but you can’t rest everybody. It’s too hard.". With the Eagles' upset loss to the Cardinals and the Cowboys' controversial win over the Lions in Week 17, Dallas is playing for the NFC East title and the No. 2 seed in the NFC on Sunday afternoon. Books opened the Cowboys as 13.5-point road favorites with the total at 48 points. That number has slimmed as low as 46 points as of Monday morning. Should the Cowboys pull ahead early on, they will likely cruise and protect their starters in the second half.
