NFL Week 14 Odds and Betting Lines: Fins Laying Two Touchdowns Against Tennessee

The NFL Week 14 odds board started with one of the lowest totals we've seen in some time when the New England Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. But at least we got that game out of the way early.

The rest of the Week 14 betting odds included some solid showdowns like the Chicago Bears upsetting the Lions, the Buffalo Bills taking down the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles getting stomped by the Dallas Cowboys. Oh yeah, and there are not one but two Monday Night Football games tonight — including the Miami Dolphins mixing it up with the Tennessee Titans!

Yikes. This Over/Under total for Thursday night opened as low as 32.5 and instantly drew Under action, sinking all the way down to 31 points. The last time NFL bettors saw a regular season total that short was back in 2008. Pittsburgh will be playing with backup Mitchell Trubisky under center after Kenny Pickett's ankle injury and the Patriots, well... who knows? The Steelers opened as 6.5-point home chalk, which is down to -5.5 in the first couple of hours of action.

The Ravens opened as touchdown favorites and that spread could go up considering the Rams receiving corps is dinged up with Puka Nacua nursing sore ribs and TE Tyler Higbee suffering a concussion. This total opened at 44.5 points.

These NFC North rivals met in Week 11, with the Bears pushing the Lions to the brink before allowing two late scores. This time around, Chicago opened as a 4-point home underdog in Week 14 and action has moved that spread to Detroit -4.5 at some books. This total opened between 45 and 46, with most shops trending upwards.

Jake Browning and the Bengals looked pretty solid in their 34-31 win over the host Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile, Gardner Minshew and the Colts now have serious playoff aspirations following their 31-28 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 13. Oddsmakers opened the Colts as 1-point road favorites for this Sunday afternoon game in Cincinnati. The total opened at 41.5.

The status of Jags' quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle) is very much in doubt for this Sunday afternoon meeting in Cleveland against the Browns. If the season were to end today, the Buffalo Bills would be outside the playoff bubble in the AFC - that isn't something anyone expected when the 2023 season kicked off.
