NFL Week 1 odds analysis

Baltimore Ravens vs Kansas City Chiefs

It's a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game with the scene shifting to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. This will be a banner-raising night for the Kansas City Chiefs who will embark on their journey to three-peat as Super Bowl champions. The Baltimore Ravens will once again prove a formidable foe as they added some pieces to their rushing attack to bolster an already stacked unit. There will be questions on defense after some notable losses, but the Ravens figure to still be one of the premier stop units.

The opening spread for this game was Chiefs -3, which has seen a light tick down towards the Ravens. But it's the total that's moved the most from 49.5 to 47.5.

Tennessee Titans vs Chicago Bears

The Caleb Williams era in Chicago begins on home turf against the Tennessee Titans. What we've seen in limited social media posts — said with tongue in cheek — has been nothing but positive regarding the former USC quarterback.

With the way the Bears are constructing their roster both through the draft and in free agency, they should have no issues showing up in front of a home crowd and putting on a show.

The Titans will trot out Will Levis as QB1 and one would think the public will be all over the Bears in this one.

Los Angeles Rams vs Detroit Lions

The Los Angeles Rams head to Detroit to take on the Lions in a rematch of last year's Wild Card game that went the way of the Lions by a score of 24-23.

Both teams enter this year with high expectations, and Jared Goff enters with a massive contract extension in tow.

Given the situation of both teams, this line may tilt in favor of the Lions who appear set to take the next step.

Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles

For those of you who think football should be played every day of the week and in all parts of the world, this game is for you.

The Green Bay Packers open up their season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, September 6 at Corinthians Stadium in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

This is part of the NFL's International Series and it will pit two teams that figure to be in contention for not only the playoffs but the Super Bowl as well.

Both point spread and total have held firm since the matchup was leaked.
