t's finally Super Bowl Sunday!

We are just hours from kickoff on the greatest day of the year for football fans, with two weeks of analyzing Super Bowl odds, scouring every Super Bowl 56 prop market available, and absorbing everyone's Super Bowl picks and predictions culminating in busy bet slips for tonight's Big Game.

To help you make the best bets in waning hours prior to kickoff, we've got some Super Bowl betting consensus, Pros vs. Joes splits, and hot prop markets to keep an eye on.

Super Bowl odds consensus

Let's start by looking at the Covers community and who they like in tonight's game:

The Bengals are getting around 60% of the overall spread bets at Covers, with most of these coming at +4 or +4.5. Our Super Bowl consensus numbers also show that 55% of our community likes the Over, with the vast majority of those picks coming at 48.5.

Professional love the Under, Rams moneyline

Professional bettors seem to be in agreeance that the Under 48.5 is the sharpest bet when it comes to the side or total.

Last night on Superstream 56, an annual show that gathers some of the sharpest minds of the betting industry, one thing was clear: the Under 48.5 and the Rams on the moneyline was a consensus play.

If you’re going to be tailing these picks, the most important thing you can do is to ensure you’re betting at the best price. Pro bettors will always shop around to ensure they’re betting the Rams at closer to -185 instead of -200. The tool below shows you the best odds from betting sites in your region:

Our best bets

The Covers betting analysts got together on Friday to put together their best Super Bowl bets and here’s a sneak peek of what they are betting on:

Adam Chernoff
Cam Akers Over 62.5 rush yards (-110) AND Akers to win MVP (+3,500)
Jason Logan
Rams double result (+115)
Josh Inglis
Bengals Over 1.5 field goals (+100)

Most popular props

The Super Bowl props menu is massive but here are some of the most popular bets being made across the regulated U.S. betting market:

BetMGM

Unsurprisingly, Cooper Kupp’s receiving yards total is the most popular player prop and the public loves the Over, with 88% of bets and 94% of handle betting Over 104.5 and 105.5.

Joe Burrow is the most popular Super Bowl MVP bet at +225, pulling in 18% of tickets and 25% of handle.

BetMGM is also reporting that both the coin toss and betting on the color of the Gatorade bath are among the Top 20 of the most-bet props. For those wondering, tails is the betting favorite with 59% of tickets and 58% of handle.

DraftKings

DraftKings is reporting similar consensus numbers to what we are seeing here at Covers with the slight majority of bettors (52% of handle, 56% of tickets) backing the Bengals at +4. As for the total, 58% of both the handle and the bets are on Over 48.5 points.

The MVP market looks different at DraftKings than it does at BetMGM, with Aaron Donald (+1,400) grabbing the most handle (19.2%) and the most tickets written (17.9%).

The most popular prop bet at DK? A Cooper Kupp anytime touchdown at -190, followed by Joe Burrow Over 1.5 passing touchdowns. And because you all want to know, the most popular Gatorade color choice at DraftKings is orange.

DraftKings bonus offer: Bet $5, win $280 in free bets. Claim now.

PointsBet

PointsBet is reporting similar numbers on the side and totals as well, with 53% of the bet count and 57% of the handle on the Bengals. When it comes to the total, 56% of the bet count and 47% of the handle on the Over.

Interestingly, the Bengals are the most popular bet in every state that PointsBet operates in except… Michigan.

A Cooper Kupp anytime touchdown at -150 is the most popular prop by both tickets and handle count. The second most popular prop (by handle) is for the opening kickoff to NOT be a touchback at -143.

PointsBet bonus offer: $500 risk-free bet + $1,500 PointsBetting risk-free bet. Claim now.
