Following a highly-entertaining opening week of the NFL season, Week 2 has arrived and should be just as riveting.

Make sure to check out our NFL betting picks for the second week of the 2022 season, as I'll be diving into the marquee matchups, odds movement, and injuries and weather factors you should watch out for.

Featured NFL Week 2 odds

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints prevailed in their respective Week 1 games and are now set to clash in an NFC South showdown at the Caesars Superdome.

After opening as +3 underdogs, the Buccaneers have been bet down half a point to +2.5. The total, meanwhile, has plunged from 48 to 44.

Since joining Tampa Bay in 2020, Tom Brady is 1-4 against the Saints, with the lone win coming in the Divisional Round of the playoffs in his first season with the Bucs.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

It was a brutal Week 1 performance by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, as Trey Lance only threw for just 164 yards with an interception in a 19-10 loss to Chicago.

Luckily for the 49ers, they're in a good bounce-back spot against a Seattle Seahawks squad that had no business winning their home opener against Denver on Monday Night Football.

The betting market agrees, as the 49ers have gone from -9 to 9.5-point favorites ahead of this NFC West tilt.

Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers

It won't get any easier for the Chicago Bears after their upset win over the 49ers, as they'll now travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are currently -10 favorites for tonight, and history is not on Chicago's side. The Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last six meetings in Green Bay and 7-22 ATS in their last 29 meetings overall.

NFL Week 2 news

Herbert dealing with rib injury

Not only did the Los Angeles Chargers squander several opportunities to beat the Kansas City Chiefs on TNF, but star quarterback Justin Herbert also got injured in the process.

After being hit hard in the 4th quarter of Thursday's 27-24 loss, Herbert suffered a rib cartilage fracture. It could still be a lot worse, however, and Herbert is still expected to practice next week ahead of their next game against the Jaguars.

Rush hour

The Dallas Cowboys may have to put their Super Bowl hopes on hold, as QB Dak Prescott is now out several weeks after sustaining a hand injury in Dallas' Week 1 loss to Tampa Bay.

Backup Cooper Rush will take Prescott's place, and it won't be easy sledding today as they face the reigning AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals as 7.5-point home underdogs.

Rush started one game for America's team in 2021, throwing for 325 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in a win over Minnesota in Week 8.

Adams' season is short-lived

The Jamal Adams era in Seattle has NOT gone according to plan.

After a blockbuster trade in 2020 that involved two-first round picks going the other way for the former Pro Bowl safety, Adams has missed time due to injury in every season with the Seahawks.

In MNF against Denver, Adams tore his quadriceps tendon and will now require season-ending surgery.

NFL Week 2 injuries

Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars

One week is in the books, and the injuries have already piled up for the Indianapolis Colts.

After being without the presence of Shaquille Leonard in Week 1, Indy will now be without No. 1 and 2 receivers in Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce. All-Pro defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and Pro Bowl corner Kenny Moore are also listed as questionable with hip injuries.

Offensively, expect the Colts to continue to be run-heavy with Jonathan Taylor. Speedy receiver Parris Campbell also may have a chance to have a breakout game as he's now going to Matt Ryan's first option through the air.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

Chris Godwin played last week for the Bucs, but the go-to receiver for Tom Brady has been ruled out for today (hamstring). Running back Leonard Fournette is also questionable, which would mean starting snaps for rookie Rachaad White if Fournette is unable to go.

For New Orleans, RBs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram are both questionable for Sunday. Starting QB Jameis Winston also enters this game banged up, although he's expected to play.

Check out our full NFL injury reports.

NFL Week 2 weather

Jacksonville is expected to have rain on Sunday, while Seahawks-49ers will be anticipating precipitation and 15.7 mph winds at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. Expect both Seattle and San Francisco to keep the ball on the ground for the most part offensively.

Sunday Night in Lambeau will luckily see overcast conditions with an expected temperature of 71 degrees Fahrenheit around kickoff.
