Edwards scissor hands
One of the shortest spreads today is the line between the Timberwolves and the Pacers, where Indiana opened as a 1-point home favorite and is now a 1-point dog.
Anthony Edwards continues to be a maddeningly inconsistent player for Minnesota and while he averages 22.1 ppg, he tends to be a streaky shooter and is sloppy with his ball handling. Edwards has totaled nine turnovers over his last two games and he has turned the ball over at least three times in eight of his last 10 contests.
The Pacers are weak on the defensive end of the floor but they do a good job of forcing turnovers, and their fast tempo means more possessions, which leads to more opportunities for high-usage players to make mistakes.
I'm taking the Over 2.5 turnovers for Edwards.

King of the hill
The Sacramento Kings have won seven games in a row but face the Hawks as 5.5-point road underdogs tonight.
Center Domantas Sabonis has been a big reason for Sacramento's success and he's filling up the stat sheet, averaging 17.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game. The Sabonis for Tyrese Haliburton trade made last season has worked out for both squads, with Sabonis facilitating for a Kings offense that leads the league with 120.9 ppg.
The Over 5.5 on Sabonis' assists total is juiced in the -135 to -150 range but with the consistent Sabonis going Over that number in 10 of his last 11 games (91% conversion rate), that's still excellent value.

Action Jackson
Reggie Jackson averaged 16.8 ppg last season for the Clippers but got off to an ugly start this year, putting up just 9.3 ppg on 36.1% shooting in his first 10 games. He has played much better since then, averaging 16.4 ppg on 54.9% shooting in his last eight contests.
Jackson has dropped at least 20 points in his last three games and he's fresh off a 27-point performance against the Jazz on Monday. He took 20 field goal attempts in that game with Paul George sidelined by an injury, and George is still out — along with Kawhi Leonard.
That should mean another high-usage night for Jackson, who will benefit from playing against a Warriors team that plays at the second-fastest pace in the league and ranks just 27th in defensive efficiency.
