Federated Auto Parts 400 pre-race favorites

Martin Truex Jr. (+600)

Despite what's been a winless campaign, Truex finds himself as the co-favorite in Richmond after capturing last year's Federated Auto Parts 400 crown and finishing fourth on this track in the spring (his best finish this season). Overall, Truex has three wins at Richmond since 2019, giving books confidence that he can still get it done.

Denny Hamlin (+600)

Hamlin's a four-time winner at Richmond, including one already this season, and while his 2022 effort has been nothing to brag about (currently on the playoff fringe), he's been trending up, with five Top-10 finishes in the last 12 points-paying races, after just one such result in the first 12.

Kyle Busch (+700)

The only driver more prolific than Truex and Hamlin at Richmond since 2010? This guy.

Busch has six career Richmond wins, but has been on a terrible slide of late after starting the 2022 season on fire. Busch has zero Top-10 finishes in the past eight races, with an average result of 24th over that span, which probably explains why he's slotted slightly behind the favorites.

How to bet on NASCAR

The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.

Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
