I have little to no confidence in Southampton, but Liverpool have just played 90 minutes plus extra time and penalties in an FA Cup final.
Due to injuries picked up before and during the game they will play without starters - Salah, Van Dijk and Fabinho. No doubt Klopp will feel like he needs to rotate as much as possible otherwise he could lose even more players to injury which could be critical being so close to the UEFA Champions League final. I think if City had lost to West Ham it would be a different story, but with the task looking extremely unlikely with City playing Villa at home I imagine he'll err on the side of caution with any of his starters.
Liverpool's defensive reserves are ample replacements when they partner Van Dijk, but I have major doubts when they are asked to do it without him as a starter.
Southampton on their day can be tough to break down. Liverpool struggled to muster quality SOT during the FA Cup final so may struggle again against a Southampton team that will no doubt attempt to sit deep and hit on the counter. I recall earlier in the season Southampton travelling to the Ettihad and holding City to zero SOT during the 90 minutes.
There's always the possibility that Southampton's players decide to mail it in, but being at home and having probably watched the FA Cup final themselves they'll probably think like me that this is a bit of an opportunity to knock them off and take advantage of any hangover and tiredness. I'm in no doubt Ralf Hassenhutl will be up for it given some of the past run ins he's had with Klopp.

Agree. I like the first half Under 1.5 even more. As you mentioned, Pool will most likely start with the hangover effect coming off the draining victory in FA cup. I see this ending in a draw.

It was a loss but Southampton gave a good account of themselves.
For novice punters, note that we beat the closing line by a considerable margin. You do that regularly enough and I guarantee with a consistent staking plan you will make money - that's just math.
