This is what I'd be crankin' in Colorado if I had anything to say about the locker room music...

Hey Nedtan,
That was a tough loss for sure Friday night. Kuemper played well enough to beat the 30 other teams in the league not in the Finals, but Vasilevskiy was just a bit better. The first Tampa goal was soft/bad play by Kuemper, but the 4 on 3 2nd goal (2 Avs in the p-box) was almost inevitable, and the game winner by Palat - he was wide open in the slot/stick raised calling for the puck and Kuemper almost got it. Woulda been an above-average save for sure...but it wasn’t lol. So he held up his end pretty well. Just that Vasy is feeling it now, just like after the first 2 games in NY when he found his tempo and his game...2-3-2 goals allowed last 3 games (though the 3 goals was in the Avs game 4 OT winner). The Avs out shot and out hit the Bolts, and face-offs were almost even/Avs got better as the game wore on. A couple of close misses also and it coulda been 4-3 Avs, but it wasn't.
Hindsight is 20-20 as they say, but I'm kicking myself anyway because the ML action was 90% or more on the Avs but (excluding the opening line from the day before) the line only rose 10 cents or so from a buck-65 to a buck-75 throughout the day. Went up late with my local to a buck-83 which was probably more late betting steam than anything else. You know the sharp money was already in long before game time, and with all that action coming in on COL the line didn't move nearly as much as it should have. And I'm not saying the late steam isn't sometimes right because sometimes us average joe bettors get it right, too, when we're all on a team bandwagon for a particular game.
I didn't make a series bet, but if I had it would be like yours on the Avs, and I think 100% you've got a winner there!
Not sure about tonight yet, bud. Surprising that the Bolts would be dogs at home, with Vasy, and coming off a huge win in Colorado. My local has them both -110 for now, so we'll see what happens throughout the day. A few of the sites that supposedly track the action and the line movement are all favoring the Avs, but of course, the numbers are pretty varied from 55 to 65 to 70% of the $$ on the Avs. Not saying those sites would ever tell us anything, but it's just another thing to consider is all. As much as every team would like to win the Cup in front of their home fans, that's not what the Avs are thinking right now after being up 3 to 1 and Vasy heating up.
Cheers

Welp I lost all my profits on live roulette like an absolute degenerate
There’s goes that. Gambling is a mighty foe, not for the overly ambitious. Triggers everywhere. I will lay down my sword for the time being.
On the flip side, just landed my first big boy job today making close to 6 figures
