This line stinks to high heaven. Public is all over the covering Titans and their run game. The line was +2 a week ago and now it is +6? What has changed for it to move that much? I think you have to hold your nose and take the Eagles.

Eagles have the defense to slow down the run game, and the offense to take advantage of the Titans' sketchy defensive roster. I saw this and thought Eagles right away too.

The problem with the Eagles is the get bored in-game, and can't sustain effort.
They have the best Defense in Football stats wise, but always seem on shaky ground

10-1 and get bored? I wouldn't want to fuck with them.
Sirianni vs Vrabel will be a coaching slugfest, the dudes know what they're doing.

Um , yeah, they get bored.
They rank 26 in second half Offense with 8.9 pts per game, and barely outscore their opponents.
26th in second half scoring. Thats pathetic for a 10-1 team. Strikes of boredom to me.

Hmmm, sounds ripe for a backdoor cover

It actually does strike boredom, in a sense.
They annihilate their competition early, and step off the gas 2H. Still 10-1. There's not anything pathetic about that imo.

Looking at yearlong stats we find that the Titans' defense is ranked 3rd against the run giving up 84.5 yards per game just behind #1 SF @ 79.5 and #2 Baltimore @ 82 yards per game.
Philadelphia ranks #18th on D against the run giving up 120 yards on the ground per game, the numbers show a different reality. Now stats can be deceiving but what isn't deceiving is the man among boys coming to town in the person of King Henry.
The Eagles rely heavily on their run which is ranked 3rd in the NFL and they average 162 yards per game on the ground. The Titans on the ground average a respectable 122 yards per game (12th in the league)
Just speculating, but if the Titans can contain the Philadelphia run and the play action isn't as effective, can Hurts beat them through the air?
While the Titans are really bad on Pass defense (ranked 31st) they have given up only 18.6 points per game, which is one point better than the Eagles at 19.6.
Of course in points scored it is no match with the Eagles averaging 27 points per game to the Titans 19...
The Eagles travel the following week to play a divisional rival NYG, perhaps a slight look ahead there? The Titans seem to be in control for winning their division though the 2nd seed in the playoffs is up for grabs.
I am still turning this one over...BOL to all.

i agree, 10-1 is a great record; you are right, they are very well coached. Just wish for a little more killer instinct. Seems like sure things turn into nail biters

that -2 was the preseason line before anyone thought the Eagles would steamroll teh competition. lookahead line reopened at -7, now down to -5
