It's been months since I posted. I love playing futures and love getting early value. I have two futures bets so far, both to win $500, pretty much my standard futures bet.
Green Bay -182 to win division. Without going into long-winded, in-depth analysis of off-season changes and draft, I will simply say this: Detroit and Chicago have almost zero chance to win the division. Justin Fields is not close to being ready to lead a .500 team at best to the promise land. Any team led by Jared Goff has no hope, even though Detroit and Chicago are not bad teams and seemingly on the improve. They just aren't very good either. That leaves Minnesota. I have little respect for Cousins other than being a serviceable fantasy QB. He is not a clutch performer. I have watched him for years and he is not a leader. Because of this, I don't really take Minnesota seriously enough to beat a Green Bay team that has more than enough skill players AND Rodgers to not only win another division title but be a Super Bowl contender as well. None of the other three teams are remotely close to being a super bowl contender. The people in Green Bay know what they are doing (except for the Love draft pick lol). They will miss Adams, but really not that much. Others will step up and Rodgers will be Rodgers. If he stays healthy, they win division easily again.
Buffalo -196 to win division. Buffalo is the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl. They have it all. The Jets have no chance. This leaves Miami and New England. Both teams are not on the same level as Buffalo. Both teams are led by young QB's with question marks. Tua is a barely serviceable NFL QB....lower ended QB1. Not enough skill players. New England got smoked when it mattered in Buffalo in the playoffs. They seemingly went backwards this offseason IMO. Buffalo is a far better team than the rest of their division foes.
Don't over think this. Both Buffalo and Green Bay, barring injuries, will go deep into the playoffs. Looking forward to the upcoming season! Good luck to all.

I like it Brother ...Bills are 11-1 vs the division theater 2 years , only loss was in 70 mph winds ...
Packers look good to me as well vs that trash division ....
I'd recommend the COLTS to win their division as well. ..Seem like a bargain at -110 with the Titans losing a ton of talent ..Jags and Texans are Dookie...
That 3 teamer is over +350
Best of luck Brother...!!!
Great to see you around
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Green Bay has had good odds to make it to a Super Bowl since the last time they made it there ( 2010). They have underachieved in the Playoffs ever since with Rodgers at the helm so why would this year be any different? You say that Cousins is only a good fantasy QB and doesn't produce in clutch situations which I totally agree with, but isn't Rodgers the same guy? When was the last time he carried the team in the post season? I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota wins the division this year. The Packers draft this year tells me that they are building for the future and this will be Rodgers last year in Green Bay. The contract he signed is basically a one year contract when you break it all apart. I do totally agree with your Buffalo play.

Zimmer had issues with players as well. He seemed like he would have been a good coach in 1970. Couldn't relate to today's player. I'll put my money on Rodgers/Packers over Cousins/1st year HC.

Yeah, I didn't realize it has been around 3 months lol. Cannot wait for upcoming season. Haven't found any win totals yet, but they are close. Indy bet does sound good. Tannehill went to see a shrink and AJ Brown is gone. Jags and Texans are throwaway teams as you said. I like it. Indy also coming off of a huge letdown late last year. The entire franchise has something to prove. I like teams playing with chips on their shoulders. You sold me lol.

Man, both my sites don't allow for parlaying division winners. I'm bummed. Indy to win division is at +102 on one site and -110 on the other. I should jump on it.
