Nice day yesterday hitting all 3 UM related plays. Safe to say the B1G runs through Ann Arbor now. Hard to look ahead in this age of college football but man Michigan has the potential to be very scary in 2023. Anywho this one’s short and sweet
Purdue vs Michigan -16.5 — my numbers say Michigan by 22.5.
Tough to bet this, lots of injuries for Michigan. Couple key guys played less than I would have thought yesterday. Regardless Purdue is outclassed in this one.
Top 6 (by my numbers) not taking W/L into account here but just who id power rate as the best teams… if that’s really what people want in the playoffs.
1. Michigan
2. Georgia +1.5
3. OSU +3.5
4. Alabama +8
5. USC +14
6. TCU +18
Obviously W/L does matter along with many other factors so more so expect to see 1. UGA 2. UM 3. TCU 4. USC

Some of my favorite plays are when my ratings contradict those more widely viewed ratings!
Michigan & UGA are, by eye test and ratings, a step above the rest. TCU has some gamers. USC has the most electric player in the country.
I can’t stop looking forward to the potential 2023 Michigan team…. Might be a step above this one that has a real chance to win a National championship.

Tip my hat to Harbaugh and his coaching changes. Offensive line best I've seen. Offensive play calling with a bit more imagination. Was calling for the running back pitching back to QB and then pass all day Sat. Instead the running back threw the ball. Defense really didn't lose much of a beat with coordinator change. Special teams solid.
Now the question is can Harbaugh hang onto his staff??
The title game will be tricky. Purdue has good coaching and good schemes. Not gonna be like Iowa from last years game.

I would expect there to be staff turnover. It’s also what will bring in quality staff members. People looking to get to that next level of their coaching careers. Sherrone Moore will be gone before too long.
If the Harbaugh era has highlighted one area that’s typically under appreciated by the casual observer… it’s the importance of assistances/coordinators.

Looks like Mike Morris is out tonight just fyi. Blake Corum as well. From what I’ve read it’s a 75/25 Michigan crowd tonight. To me this comes down to how good Michigan is defensively, vs better athletes overall in a dome environment. Think Purdue is overmatched here. Don’t like the fact favorites of 10-21 points in championship games are like 2-16 ATS but I think this is like a 41-16 type game tonight.
So much depth on the DL, so no Morris isn’t a huge deal, he wasn’t playing vs OSU either. The biggest thing to me is Donovan Edwards is a better back than Corum and I think that aspect is significantly undervalued here.
B1G Prop ‘o the week: 7-2
JJ over 25 rush yards +165
With more Donovan Edwards comes more RPO and LBs needing to pay attention to DE out of the backfield as a receiver. Think JJ will have a lot of chances to make plays with his legs so alternative number here for me. Just feel that in this controlled dome the superior athletes have the advantage. The cautious side of this would be UM doesn’t put JJ in harms way & sacks count as negative rush yards in college

Lol nobody questions Purdue kicking FGs from the 10 yard line with 5 mins left down 17 though.
Yeah, The cry babies sure came outta the woodwork. Utah did the exact samething as Michigan to push that game Over.
Nice call HN!!
In Michigan's top three games this season, PSU, OSU, and Purdue champ game, the second half score total is 82-15 with no opponent scoring a td in 2nd half. WOW!
