In a sport where races go through more name changes than Prince, it can be difficult to keep track (pun intended) of which race is which.
The newly-minted M&M's Fan Appreciation 400 takes place at the Tricky Triangle of Pocono Raceway, where a couple of this week's favorites who have dominated here in the past will look to make up ground in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series odds.

M&M's Fan Appreciation 400 pre-race favorites
Kyle Busch (+700)
So, the dude in the M&M's car is the favorite for the M&M's race. Go figure. But then again, this happened last year, so it's fairly on-brand.
Coincidence aside, Busch is a four-time Pocono champion and finished runner-up here last year, so he's got plenty of past success on this track to back up his favorite status. Busch was trending up earlier in the summer, but now hasn't posted a Top-10 result in any of this season's past five races. This could be the perfect get-right spot for him.
Kyle Larson (+800)
Larson's inconsistent Cup Series title defense continued last week with a 14th at NHMS. Larson hasn't won since February, and while he managed a pair of Top-4 finishes in the past month, those were sandwiched between results in the teens. Larson remains fifth in overall points but has never won at Pocono.
Denny Hamlin (+800)
Speaking of inconsistent seasons — Denny Hamlin, folks! Hamlin came sixth in the Ambetter 301, providing some positive momentum in what's been his worst season in years. Despite two wins, Hamlin sits just 19th in the Cup Series standings, but will hope to put on a push for the playoffs (starting here, where he's won six times) down the stretch, currently 27 points back of a berth.
Chase Elliott (+800)
His recent results at Pocono have been fairly hit-or-miss, but there's simply no hotter driver in NASCAR right now, and it's not even close. Elliott has alternated results of first and second over the past four races and now leads the Cup Series standings by a substantial margin. He has to be feeling it heading into this weekend.
Ryan Blaney (+1,000)
Blaney had a disappointing Ambetter 301, finishing 18th despite heading in as the solo favorite. Still, he's a former Pocono champ (2017) and has had one of the better past 12-month stretches on the circuit. He's also posted Top-6 results in four of the past six races, so, despite the bummer in New Hampshire, it's not like he's in a slump or anything.
How to bet on NASCAR
The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.
Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
